Artist Bio
Charlotte Mukahirn is a Chicago-based artist and graduated with bachelor’s degrees in Art, Media, and Design and German Language from DePaul University in 2017. She works with both traditional and digital media, specializing in graphite, ink, and colored pencil drawing and digital painting. Mukahirn focuses on subjects of imagination, dreams, and horror. Many of her works, such as Nightmare Cabin, aim to recreate impressions of settings and characters from her dreams and imagination. Her work Nightmare Cabin has been published in Crook and Folly magazine, and she curated for DePaul University’s art department and Snarf Sandwiches on 995 W Webster Ave during her senior year of university. When she isn’t creating art, she is searching for new inspiration and dabbling in music, dance, language, and martial arts.
